Carlos Salazar

Coach Carlos brings 13 years of volleyball coaching experience and a strong record of team success. His coaching accomplishments include:

• 2018 Volleyball Festival Champion — 12s
• 2018 AAU West Coast Championship title
• 2021 Ignite the Cure 16s Championship title
• Third-place finish in 17 Open at the 2023 Colorado Crossroads
• 2026 Colorado Crossroads 17 Open Champion

While he is proud of these accomplishments, Coach Carlos’s greatest coaching moments come from watching athletes gain confidence, achieve goals they once thought were out of reach, and succeed both on and off the court.

His coaching philosophy centers on family, accountability, and growth. He believes teams are strongest when athletes support one another and understand that success and adversity are shared. Coach Carlos emphasizes that there is no “I” in team and encourages players to step beyond their comfort zones to grow academically, mentally, and athletically.

Beyond the court, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling to new places with his wife, and playing golf.
