Originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, Coach D relocated to Surprise to continue her athletic career at Ottawa University Arizona. At OUAZ, she competed in both indoor and beach volleyball.
During her two seasons with the OUAZ beach volleyball team, Coach D helped lead the program to a national runner-up finish at the NAIA Beach Volleyball National Invitational. She later transitioned into coaching as a student assistant and helped guide OUAZ to an NAIA Beach Volleyball National Championship. She also served as a graduate assistant coach for the OUAZ women’s indoor volleyball program.
Coach D currently leads the Sun City IX women’s semi-professional volleyball team in the Volleyball League of America. After helping build the program, she guided the team to the 2025 VLA Women’s National Championship and the 2025 West Cup Championship.
Her coaching philosophy extends beyond developing skilled athletes. Coach D believes volleyball is a powerful platform for helping young women build confidence, discipline, resilience, and leadership. She strives to create a competitive, supportive environment where athletes are challenged to reach their full potential while building meaningful relationships and essential life skills.
While athletic success is important, Coach D’s greatest passion is positively influencing young women and helping them become confident individuals and strong leaders on and off the court.
